Last night was my camp kickoff meeting. I announced our new theme for Girl's Camp 2013 - "Oh, the Places you'll Go!" It's from the Dr. Seuss book - we'll be focusing on the journey the girls have in this life and all the "places" they'll go.
Here are a few pictures of the treats I made for the leaders at the meeting.
I always think a water bottle is cuter with a new label! I'm using hot air balloons as a main focus - so I made these little balloons for the cupcakes and stuck them in a marshmallow cloud :)
Here are my little treat bags all ready to head off to the meeting! I made these to house Hershey's Kisses and M&M's in them - one can never have too much sugar ;)
Below shows the back of the bag and the polka-dot side.
I found these tote bags below and couldn't resist getting one myself & each of the ward camp directors!
I love being the Stake Camp Director (my 5th year!) - it's so much fun being with our beautiful young women and making all these treats and fun things for them!!

Way Cute Ideas!! I would like to do this for our girls camp. Where did you get the handouts?
HI.. You have inspired me! Can you give us some insights where you got all the handouts and printables? This would help me so much! Thanks for your inspiration and creativity!
I created the handouts and all on photoshop with a digital scrapbooking kit and other images. Sorry that's not much help with an easy link :(
Wow! You are VERY creative! I'm not that creative! I always have to copy from others! What digital scrapbook kit did you use? I would love to try to re-create some of these things.
How did you get the sticker on the water bottle? We are kicking off the day we leave for camp with this book and the water bottles would be perfect to give these out on our way to camp along with the cute bag you made full of goodies.
Also, where did you find the big bags with "Oh! the Places You'll Go! on them? I hope you don't mind my asking all these questions, they are just too cute!
Thanks!
PS: I have seen where people sell their designs. Would you be interested in selling them? You can email me if it's easier to answer the questions at kelly.ellis1@yahoo.com or this google account. I have ideas for this theme to share if you are interested.
Thanks for the ideas! I would love to use your designs also. I, too would be happy to buy them. Let me know. Mindi.bunker@gmail.com
Thanks again for the great ideas!
What a coincidence our camp theme is the same thing. I too would like to know where you got the bag and how you made the paper bags.
I am the caper lady and found some cute beads that I plan on handing out as the girls finish their capers each day.
Do you have any other ideas for capers?
Thanks!
Just love your dr Seuss camp theme... We are doing something similar this year... Can you tell me where you got the label for your water bottles, and also the sucker tag..
I am not near this creative... You are awesome..
Thanks

Would you sell me your bag design? We are doing this for our Youth Conference theme in a few weeks! You are very talented!!
Do you share or sell you designs and outline for girls camp?
From Jenny:
Thank you for all your love and interest in our Girl's Camp 2013. I created all these on Photoshop and can't email those files. I can share the pillow treat toppers. I did find the pill bottle template on Pinterest and just changed wording to work for our girls. Let me know if you have any specific questions - it was a really fun theme to work with! Good luck to all you directors!!
