Marisa is always looking to practice her skills and Tess proved to be a perfect subject! It's crazy to see my 13 year-old looking so mature at this shoot. I'm glad this isn't an everyday look and she's still my baby some days :) If you're in need of makeup, hair or photography up in Utah, check out Marisa's work! www.marisarosephotography.blogspot.com

Simply Prom 2014
Our stake (with six others) held the area's first Mormon Prom. It was titled "Simply Prom - a Royal Ball". The kids were encouraged to ask a date or as a group. YW leaders provided a "fancy" dinner at the church - the parents hosted a table & decorated it. The youth said they really loved that part of the evening. We had a little after party at our home - the kids swam, ate snacks & had fun!

Past year's birthdays
I'm finally getting caught up on some pages - I always start with Birthdays. It's been a crazy fall and winter so I love when I get a few minutes to create and look at pictures of my kiddos! I love them!!

School pictures
School Pictures - we've taken them every year with every child until now. Ryan's school didn't give them order forms until the day of pictures - so he didn't have money to turn in - so he didn't get pictures!
You may say, "What about retakes?"... well, you can't get them unless you paid the first time...argh!
His school has broken our family tradition :(
Here's Tess at least (no Ryan though)

Tess Party Pages
Now that Girl's Camp is over for the year, I have time to catch up on scrapbook pages. I know I posted pics from this party, but now I'm official finished documenting the day :)

Brownies
Yesterday on Instagram, I posted that I was making these. I told several people that the card was on my blog - it wasn't until now! Sorry if you came by earlier for it - but here it is :)
I usually substitute the brownie part with Ghiradelli double chocolate mixes. If I use two, I bake in a jellyroll pan and keep the frosting & ganache with the original amounts. If I use three mixes, I bake in a large cookie sheet with sides (baker's half sheet) and 1 1/2 times the frosting & ganache. They are worth making - enjoy!
